Positive, I had a functional room with a comfortable bed. The covered parking was excellent and super handy. Plus, it was an easy walk to the city center and close to some nice restaurants and cafes. Check-in was a breeze! 🌟

Upon arrival, I was frustrated by the inadequate parking situation. After being told there was no parking available, it took a lot of time driving around to find a spot. While the staff eventually helped me find a space, it shouldn't have been so complicated. the absence of basic amenities like a kettle made my stay feel less convenient. It's disappointing when the basics are lacking in a hotel that markets itself to travelers.

the location was so poor, I thought I was set up for a horror movie. noisy, shabby, and then the breakfast chaos? ! just one coffee machine for all those people, really? I expected at least a complimentary gesture, but I guess that’s too much to ask. I almost left a good review, but just couldn’t, how disappointing!

Decent Budget Stay with Some Drawbacks

I appreciated the online check-in process, which provided a convenient entry code. The location near the railway station was a plus, making it easy to explore the area. my room was quite cold at night, so future guests should consider bringing extra blankets for comfort.

the ibis was a great choice! it’s really close to the st benedictins train station, which was perfect for my early departure. the common area was surprisingly spacious, especially for a budget hotel. i also liked that the street parking was free and available at all hours.
